2018 Researcher Links workshop on Mental Health Technologies
Funding for early career researchers and academics to present their work

The Newton Fund, the British Council and the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) will be holding a Bilateral Workshop on Mental Health Technologies in Jinan, China on September 7th - 9th 2018. It is being coordinated by Dr Benny Lo of Imperial College London and Dr Yuan Zhang of the University of Jinan, and will have contributions from other leading researchers.
The workshop will target early career researchers/academics based in China and the UK (with less than 10 years of experience since completion of PhD) in the field of biomedical engineering, data science, computer science, machine learning psychology, psychiatry and bioinformatics. In particular, they would like to seek participants with research experience in mental health technologies.
Funding will be provided to support up to 17 early career researchers and academics to travel and present their work at the workshop. The application form and a research paper needs to be submitted on or before June 24, 2018 (17:00 GMT).
