Therapist Information

Hello, I'm Rebecca - I'm a creative arts psychotherapist with over 10 years experience of supporting people. I provide online creative therapy sessions to explore your emotional concerns and your connection to your body.

I qualified as a creative arts psychotherapist in 2013 – with an MA in Dance Movement Psychotherapy from University of Roehampton. Over the past 10 years I’ve worked as a therapist, wellbeing coach & educator, service manager and senior clinician.

This has involved working with children & young people, parents & carers, adults, and older adults (70yrs+). I have worked in the community with schools and charities, as well as working in the NHS within mental health services and GP surgeries.

I currently support people through roles at local & national charity services, as well as working with people online in the UK and in-person sessions in the south-east of England.

I am a qualified online therapist & supervisor, which covers working therapeutically via video sessions, telephone, instant messaging, and through weekly email messages.

Providing online video sessions means that I can offer support to people across the UK or abroad (excl. USA and Canada), or for people who have barriers to attending therapy sessions in-person.

I am fully insured and have an enhanced DBS clearance. I am a full, registered member of the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK (ADMP UK) and National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP). I abide by both of their code of ethics and professional behaviour.

My core qualification is as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist (DMP), which means that I make use of body awareness, creative expression and mindfulness, as we all as talking therapies.

I welcome people who identify as LGBTQIA+ and people who are neurodivergent, including late-diagnosed or self-diagnosed autistic adults.

I am committed to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practice, and I would be very happy to talk with you about any accessibility or cultural needs.

I provide inclusive, non-judgemental support - particularly for people who have experienced stigma or discrimination in the past.

Individuals - adults, and older adults (70yrs+)

Online Supervisor Profile

Hello, I'm Rebecca - I'm a creative arts psychotherapist and a qualified online clinical supervisor, with an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision.

Are you looking to build up your confidence and skills in online work, or transferring your existing skill-set from face-to-face counselling into the virtual world?

You are welcome to explore counter/transference , using creative methods with clients, somatic / embodied issues in client work, or issues specific to virtual work such as disinhibition, shifting boundaries, or your own online footprint.

I am a creative embodied psychotherapist by training, and I bring this experience into my supervision approach. I have also managed teams of counsellors in charities and in the NHS, and so you are welcome to bring any systemic challenges about working within a service.
